Reading the site and searching

You can read the site without an account. Cloudflare provides hosting and security and processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested page addresses, and traffic-routing information to deliver and protect the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Search matches are generated in your browser, but a submitted search also appears in the page address and can be included in hosting requests. Do not enter names, medical histories, or other sensitive details in site searches. Interactive educational graphics do not require a patient profile or medical history.

Email newsletter

If you subscribe, we use Kit to manage your email address, signup and subscription records, and newsletter delivery. We send a confirmation email before adding a new signup to the confirmed list. You do not need to provide a diagnosis, medical history, or treatment record.

Kit also records delivery and email interactions. Email images can report that a message was opened, and links can record clicks through Kit's redirect service. These measurements can be affected by image blocking, automatic image loading, and security checks. We use them to understand newsletter delivery and engagement.

You can stop newsletter emails using the unsubscribe link in a message or contact news@ketaminefordepression.org with a subscription or deletion request. A limited suppression record may be retained to avoid adding an unsubscribed address back by mistake. Kit's processing is described in its privacy policy and Data Processing Addendum.

Site analytics and browser technologies

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and real-user performance measurement to understand page visits and loading performance. Its browser beacon collects page and performance information. Cloudflare states that this analytics service does not use cookies or browser storage to track visitors. Hosting and security processing are separate from this analytics service.

Kit's embedded signup form and the other services involved in delivery receive technical information when your browser connects to them. You can manage browser cookies and block remote email images; blocking a service may affect how its features work. We do not currently run advertising tags in the site application.

If you email us

We receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond, investigate corrections or problems, and keep relevant correspondence. Email delivery also involves our mail service provider.

Please do not send medical records, insurance numbers, or other sensitive personal details. This publication's inbox is not a clinical service or secure patient portal.

Retention, sharing, and security

We keep subscription and correspondence records as needed to provide the requested service, handle requests, retain a useful record, and meet applicable obligations. Providers have their own retention and backup arrangements. Information may also be disclosed to comply with a legal obligation or address fraud or security threats.

Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. No internet service or email system can guarantee complete security. Outside research, treatment, and social websites have their own privacy practices when you follow their links.

Your choices and policy updates

Email us to ask about information you have sent, request a correction, or request deletion. We may need to verify the request. Available rights, response requirements, and exceptions depend on applicable law; some records may need to be retained.

The site is intended for adults. We do not ask children under 13 to provide personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information.
